UNITED WE CONQUER! Ellen Hutson BCRF Fundraiser

Hey folks!

I’m absolutely delighted to join in a very special bloghop, fundraiser and product showcase today!

Some of you might know that my mom lost her fight with breast cancer 2 years ago. It was very unexpected and a big loss to me and my family – especially because just 2 months before the event we had welcomed my daughter Saanvi in the world. I was happy that mom got to spend those 2 months with her first grand-daughter and that Saanvi got to experience her grandmom’s love too!

When I put forward the idea of doing something special in remembrance of moms who have fought breast cancer, Julie and Ellen were absolutely supportive and we all worked together a long time behind the scenes to design this fundraiser!!! I want to give a HUGE thanks to them both in making this dream come true!

Here is the Courage Stamp & Die Set we designed in honor of our moms and to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer:

I had a blast designing this with Julie! All three of our moms loved flowers so we decided on a theme of layered florals that could be used to decorate a breast cancer ribbon die and messages of encouragement for sentiments.

Here are a couple of cards I made with this…

We know that many of you are affected by this disease or other forms of cancer and we are turning to you for help. After much research our team made the decision to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the nation. Through this fundraiser, it is our goal to educate and raise money for research and support services for patients and survivors battling breast cancer.

Hi Chaitali, first of all I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. This is such a great way to honour her and her memory, I am sure she is smiling down on you. This is such an amazing set and your cards are gorgeous. How wonderful that she lived to see her beautiful granddaughter. As the grandmother of 2 little grandsons of my own, I can tell you there is nothing that makes me any happier than to see their beautiful little faces!
    God Bless you!
