Iron Craft Season 2 Episode 17

Hey everyone!

Time for another Iron Craft episode! Ready to watch it? Lets go!

TheInterview

Today I have a veteran of the papercrafting industry! It was so much fun to talk with her and learn how papercrafting has evolved over the years. We also chatted about her style, her lovely new grand-baby and I got to meet a surprise guest!

Say hello to Shari Carroll for today’s episode! Sit back and enjoy! 🙂

TheIngredients

Shari and I used a gorgeous background stamp from one of the Hero Arts new collections –  The Spice Market line! Isn’t it just a beautiful background?

I have to say that I’ve been stamping since I was a little girl and I can’t remember a time when I didn’t stamp. My first stamp set was given to me as a birthday gift and it was a set of cats!! So I have been stamping for at least 20 years. Now I have a 4 year old daughter who shares my love of stamping!

I didn’t start seriously stamping until about 2011. But I am almost 61. So maybe I will get the award for starting paper crafting at a later age!!!!! Ha!!!!

Wonderful Interview Chaitali & Shari, I started stamping in 1986 with a couple of PTX stamps and a jar of gold embossing powder.

I bought my first stamp set in the mid 80’s. Stamps have evolved so much in 30 years! Thanks for the personal glimpse into my favorite designers lives.

I started also in 1989 as a teenager, but stopped for a number of years as I went to college, got married, had kids to take care of. I have just recently started up again and it’s so much fun!!

Thanks for the interview Chaitali. Nice to meet you ladies. I have been a fan of Shari’s work since I found SSS a few years ago.
I have been stamping since retiring in 2007.

Chiatali…so lucky you were able to interview Shari Carroll (definitely, one of my idols). Such a great interview. Started stamping 2008 and my collection has grown exponentially…may have to add a room to the house to store it all.
