Supplies:
I cut the butterfly on my Cameo (its a cutting file from Platypus creek) and colored it with spiced marmalade distress ink, then stamped it with flowers from Gina K’s Hello Sunshine kit. Finished the butterfly with little pearl accents. The sentiment is also from the same kit and I just love the font! The sentiment color strip was made with some masking and more distress inks.
If you enlarge the pic, you will notice the score lines on the card. This was my first time trying it and loved how nice it looked on a CAS card!
This card also goes to the CAS-ual Fridays challenge – using a strip of color on your card.
Hope you enjoyed the card! Do join us for the challenge if you can… you could win some cool cutting files and digis from Platypus Creek. Also, don’t forget to visit my fellow DT members for added inspiration. Thanks for dropping by!
What a great idea to stamp the butterfly with the flowers! Very cute card!

Love the way you framed the sentiment with the distress ink! Very cool look. The butterfly is so pretty. I am making 6 cards this week and they all have to be butterflies.. They are fun to do!
