I’m back after a blogging break! Did you miss me? I have a whole bunch of cards made and ready to post but haven’t blogged about them yet.
For today’s card, its release day at Platypus Creek Digitals and I have a fun card with the print-and-cut image thats being released. Yes, its a Babushka!
I had never worked with a Babushka image before so had to think a bit before making this card. But I love how this turned out. Here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: DCWV Josephine box of cards background, PTI Pure Poppy, Kraft
Inks: Copics, PTI True Black
Accessories: Babushka Print-and-cut SVG from Platypus Creek Digitals, Prima pearls, flower from my stash
stamps: TE In the Park sentiment
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
The background is from DCWV’s Josephine box of cards and I layered some PTI Pure Poppy and Kraft cardstock over it. The Babushka was printed and cut with my Cameo and attached to the card with some dimensionals. I colored the Prima pearl swirls with Copics to give it a glowing effect.
