TSG227 – Decorate the Inside

Hey everyone! Its time for a TSG challenge and today is the first time I’ll be playing on the other side of the fence in the challenge! TSG challenges are always fun and this one is no less!

This challenge is from Tangii and she is challenging us to decorate the inside of our cards this week!

Here is my card:

I used the Henna Swirls set again! (Can you tell I’m attached to it?) 😛

The background is made with distress inks. I used the tried-and-true technique of putting the distress inks on my craft mat, spritzing a bit of water on them then putting my cardstock sheet in the ink puddle. Dried it off with my heat gun then stamped over it with the Henna Swirls set.

For the left border I stamped with a black border and added the white streaks using a Ranger embossing pen then embossing with white powder.

And here is the inside as per the challenge!

I used the same set on the inside, distressing the top part and stamping one of the borders from the set on it. On the bottom side I used the other border on the corners only and colored in some of the lines with a glitter black pen.
