Shoes and Purses

Our Paper Pajama Party (PPP) blogging group over at Splitcoaststampers is tough! We have some very hard monthly challenges coming up, the first of which is by AnnMarie. She started us on making a shoe and a matching purse for this month. But the ladies all have plans to keep going till we have a full paper wardrobe šŸ™‚

I thought this would be hard but nothing is hard with the Cameo by your side! I found this lovely SVG at MyGrafico for making a paper slipper. It was easy to cut on my Cameo and put together to make a slipper.

For the purse, I used this cute purse-card file from the Silhouette store. Its 2D but opens up like a card and you can write in a message inside. I left the inside blank for now.

Here is my shoe and purse:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream for base, SEI Promise Me patterned paper, Office labels from PTI for nuggets
Inks: Tattered Rose distress ink for purse top and shoe sole, SU Coral Red for nuggets
Accessories: Recollections flower, baker’s twine
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
Cutting Files: MyGrafico, Silhouette Store

Noticed the little wrapped Hershey nuggets in the slipper? Thats because I don’t like making anything without a purpose. I was wondering what use a paper shoe could possibly be when I saw a few inspirations on Pinterest with chocolates stuffed in real shoes. Ofcourse my paper shoe could do the same!

The nuggets are wrapped with white office labels from PTI stamped with a stamp from PTI’s Limitless Labels. They go well with my pink party theme šŸ™‚ There you have it! A neat little girly gift of chocolates in a slipper and a purse card!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed the post! I’ll update here shortly with links to creations made by my fellow PPP girls!
