Short post today but I have a fun technique to discuss. One of my favorite way of creating embellishments for my paper crafting projects is using paper piecing. this has become a whole lot easier with my Silhouette Cameo!
I recently made some card candy using paper piecing for a swap on SCS. Here is a pic:
The penguins are made using paper piecing and are files from the Silhouette store. I cut them out as individual parts on my Cameo using GP110 paper. Then colored various parts as I wanted them and assembled them to make the penguins.
A little bit of chat about the packaging — I stuck all the birdies on a 5X7 acetate sheet with removable gluedots then packed it inside a lip-n-tape bag from gtbags.com. Added a simple topper sponged with some peeled paint distress ink and my “handmade by” label sponged with some wild honey distress ink.
Hope you enjoyed the post and thanks for dropping by!
ok, these are so cute! I love them!
