Valentine’s Day cardmaking has become a tradition at home ever since Saanvi started her preschool, V-Day 2019 was the first time I did a mass-crafted batch of cards with Saanvi. We were slow and patient and worked with a few cards at a time only.
Here are all the cards we made…
We ended up making 24 cards for her friends and teachers all together! Saanvi picked the colors, paper and did a bunch of diecutting for this project. All the fingerprints are hers. I stamped the animals over the thumb prints and assembled the cards together.
The hardest part of this project was to explain this process to her friends’ parents because what 3.5 yo makes lacy edged cuts like that?! Here is a note and photo I included with each card to explain the process. I got a few inquiries back after that for craft playdates with Saanvi’s friends! Those are always fun! 🙂
