SugarPea Designs Special Release – Caring Hearts!

Hey everyone!

I’m so excited to give you an awesome news today! And there will be another tomorrow (so do stop by!) and then I’ll have a ton of content for the rest of the week too – so I hope you’ll visit me often in the next week 😉

Today is the SugarPea Designs Caring Hearts release!

Some back story for it: This is a special one for me because I floated the idea to Wendy and Vera (who runs the Caring Hearts Card Drive) last year. Since then, we worked behind the scenes to get this ready and what started as one stamp set idea grew to 2 stamp sets and 2 die sets from me + another stamp and die set from another SPD illustrator!!

It was so much fun designing the Caring Hearts stamp set, the heart border die and the Kindness stamp set and word die! I’d always wanted to use my illustrating to do some more good and I asked Wendy if we could do a donation with these sets — she said yes!!

SugarPea Designs will be donating 20% of all proceeds from the sale of CaringHearts stamp sets & dies to the Alzheimers Association.

For my part — I have waived all illustrating fees on these stamp and die sets. My hope is that this will keep the production costs down and help with more donations from the sales. ❤

There are also 2 more – one stamp set and its corresponding die set that are releasing today in this special release!

Wanna see what I made with it? Ok!!

I am hooked on to masking and distress ink blending these days after following thecoloursofmagic on Instagram! Love how this combo turned out and looks so amazing with the Kindness sentiment!! Finished it off with some clear droplets, embossed hearts and an enamel heart too.

So on to the prizes and hop details today. We have some fabulous celebrities from the crafty world joining us today. Check out the SugarPea Designs blog for the full hop list. You should have come here from Vera’s blog and your next destination is Lisa’s blog.

This is a great cause and I wish you many responses. I make cards all year long for some of our local nursing homes and they are always so appreciative. The stamps, dies, and inspiration from this hop is wonderful.
