SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Hop

Hey everyone!

I am joining the SPD DT today for a Sweet2Repeat hop showing off the Jan-Feb 2016 release! And I get to show you my newly released stamp set!

Ready for my cards? Here goes…

I used my Key To My Heart set here. This was inspired by a concept that Kim O’Connell had. Kim is one of my favorite stampers and I follow her blog since a long time ago so it was amazing working with her to bring her idea to life. And of course she has made some fabulous cards with this set!!

For my card, I stamped the key and hearts from the set and colored them with Gansai Tambi watercolors, adding the shimmery colors on top to give the elements a lovely subtle shine. Then stamped the sentiment on the smaller strip and adhered on top. The 2 panels have been diecut with dies from the recent Stamp of Approval Young At Heart collection.

I actually made 2 cards of this design for the 2 teachers in my daughter’s daycare class. Here are both…
