Christmas with Verve – Day 1

Hey everyone!

I had blog issues all weekend and earlier this week 😦 Hopefully if you visited here for a published post, you were able to comment! If you have trouble commenting, please let me know via my contact form or my Facebook page.

Today I’m kicking off a 2-day mini-series to showcase some Christmas cards primarily with Verve stamps. I had a lovely year with Verve and released so many lovely stamps! I really designed them with many different occasions in mind. So what better way to show the versatile designs than the holidays??!

Glad the blog is back up just in time for me to participate in Amy’s Holiday Coffee Lovers Bloghop! She did a really amazing job putting together the hop with some fabulous sponsors! So this first post of the series is a coffee card!

Wanna see my card? 🙂

I used a ton of different Verve stamps on this one and some others too. The snowflakes background is from Glad Tidings. The coffee mug is from Coffee and the little gingerbread cookies are from the Starry Stable die set. I also used Julie Ebersole’s Merry and Bright set for the border and the little holly leaves.

I think I’m most proud of the sentiment! Its made of words from 3 different sets – Winnie & Walter the Big, the Bold and the Merry, Verve Coffee and Verve Weary World. Its so much fun when all the different sets in your stash come together, isn’t it? 🙂

Hope you like the card! I’ll be back tomorrow with another card in the series!
