Verve October 2014 Release Retrospective hop

Hey folks!

I went straight to the Pink Power set ofcourse! Its still October so I am going to keep at it while I can 🙂

Here is my card…

I sponged the whole card-front with tattered rose and worn lipstick distress ink. Then stamped the sentiments on it from the Pink Power set with different Memento colors. After that was done, I cut out the bottom border using a Pretty Pink Posh border die. The oval is also a PPP die. I cut the silhouette from the Pink Power set using PixScan on my Cameo.

This is another of my cards going for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at Splitcoaststampers! This one goes in the Something Missing challenge. Its a little difficult to see what is missing in the photo above. But here is another pic that shows the bottom half of the front panel is missing! I thought it’d be fun to make a different cut card like this!

    Your stamped and sponged background is a lovely canvas for the center-stage oval and image! The partial front panel: brilliant! A most lovely, inspiring card!
