Pink Power Bloghop

Hey everyone!

I’m here today for a very special bloghop!!

Let me start with a personal story first. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She is currently undergoing treatment for it and I’m so so proud of how strong she has been throughout!! So I designed the Pink Power stamp set for her with a whole lot of love!

Today, some guests and some of the Verve Divas are joining me in spreading breast cancer awareness by using this stamp set on their cards! I am sponsoring this hop with the set for the guests. So honored that so many talented crafters are playing along in this!!

PinkPowerBloghop-01

The hop starts here, on my blog. So you are at the right place!

Here is my card for the hop…

ChaitaliPinkPower

I used the Pink Power set and stamped and cut out the head silhouette using PixScan on my Silhouette Cameo (tutorial for that coming soon I promise!). The sentiment is stamped on the scroll die from Verve. I did a little distress ink technique on the background by coating my embossing folder with distress inks before running it through my Cuttlebug. The rainstones from PTI are just so fabulous, aren’t they?

Many of us in the hop today are creating and playing for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at Splitcoaststampers! This is a great chance to participate and help spread some love and BC awareness! I strongly encourage you to join in if you can! That is the reason I don’t have a separate linky or prizes for the hop today. HYCCT has both and you should join 🙂

My card today is for the Something Missing challenge. I have a missing oval in the pattern panel for this.

Thats from me for today! Your next stop is Jennifer (yes THE Jennifer McGuire!!). And below is the full hop list…

A gorgeous card for an incredibly worthwhile cause. I know your love and support you’re offering your mom is a most significant aspect of her treatment; she’s a strong woman, indeed!

Thanks so much for this wonderful post and for spreading awareness for Breast Cancer. My Mom also battled this illness and is now a seven year survivor and remains cancer free. I have also had three dear friends battle this illness and ALL of them found they had cancer on their Mammogram, which are truly Life Savers!

I just had mine on September 30th and all was well! Thank Goodness, since I am consider High Risk!

Love you you and your Mom!! I am off to buy this set and think it’s truly lovely!!

Oh, WOW! That is an amazing ombré background effect! I’m thinking of you and your amazing mama–wishing her strength and hope–wishing it for you, too. I’m sure having such a thoughtful and amazing daughter as you is a wonderful comfort, that gives her strength and courage. Love you, Chai! *mondo squishy hugs*
