WCMD with Distress Inks

Hey folks!

Back again with my third (and possibly final) post of the day! I had a blast just playing for fun without any deadline pressure with these 2 projects. In the true spirit of WCMD!

So I pulled out my distress inks and a bunch of old and new dies that I hardly used.

Here is my first card with a PTI border die and Altenew Henna Elements. I used the latest Cutting Edge challenge to play! Flipped the inspiration card’s layout for mine.

EDIT 10/05: Submitting this to the current Virginia’s View challenge also! Forgot to link it up here when I first posted! This is CAS for me! 🙂

Working with black got EXTREMELY difficult! Excuse the smudges won’t you? 🙂

For my next card I used the Winnie & Walter On Trend challenge and their fun camera image from The Write Stuff: Picture Perfect set.

And that completes my WCMD posts I think. Unless I am motivated to make some more cards tonight! We’ll see 🙂 Off to get some hot chocolate and watch TV now!

What nice cards!! I am not good with black either. It is so difficult to use and I always get extra powder on it when I emboss-even when I use the embossing buddy!! I LOVE your second card. It is so fun!! The background rocks!!

Chaitali—I love how you kept the piece on the side of the circle diecut border……adds so much interest to your card!!! Thanks so much for playing along with the Cutting Edge Challenge!
