Did you check out this week’s Iron Craft episode with Lisa Spangler yet?
I promised I’d be back with a closer look at my cards today! So here I am 🙂 Lets go right in and see the cards, shall we?
This first one is from the gorgeous brush stroke paper that Lisa and I talked about so much in the interview. I kept it very CAS with this.
The next one features my watercoloring with distress markers, some enamel dots and the wooden stars!
Here is the third one where I’m going to give you a winning formula for enamel dots placement. Trust me folks! I’ve done the research and experiments!
- You always use an odd number of dots. 3, 5, 7, 101. Anything. But odd number.
- Balance them around your focal element with an even number on one side and an odd number on other. Like in the card above I have 2 on one side and 1 on other. And the card below has 3 on one side and 4 on other.
- And always go from focal element outward when you are using different sizes. So in the bottom card I have larger dots near the focal element and smaller outward.
I’m telling you this formula works everytime! I have proof that even experts use it! Give it a try 🙂
And the last one featuring the cute gnome!
Hope you enjoyed the cards! Go ahead and check out the episode if you haven’t already! And make sure you watch all the way to the end. I have sone snazzy video editing this time 🙂
