Get yourself a good drink and get cosy. This is the longest Iron Craft episode so far! But my guest and I couldn’t stop talking! And we made 4 cards for the episode! 🙂

My guest today is the amazing and super talented and geek-like-me Lisa Spangler! Here is our interview.

Lisa and I had some great ingredients to play with! We both used the entire Studio Calico July Card Kit – Penny Arcade for our ingredients! Thanks Studio Calico for sponsoring an amazing ingredients kit for us!

Bet you are eager to see pics of our cards eh? Here is a composite photo of all the cards. Mine on the top and Lisa’s on the bottom. You can click it to enlarge.

Lisa has more shots of her cards on her blog today and I’ll have a separate blog post for mine on Wednesday!

Today Studio Calico is sponsoring our giveaway! One lucky winner will get the Penny Arcade Card kit!! How cool is that?!

To win, just leave a comment here answering Lisa’s question and I’ll pick a lucky winner for the giveaway! Here is the question for you!

What is your favorite flower?

Lets make this comment feed all colorful and fragrant shall we? 🙂

Hope you enjoyed the episode! I’ll see you next time with another episode of Iron Craft!

  1. Bev LoPinto

My favorite flower is the peony, but I have to add that when I was growing up I was completely enchanted by Queen Anne’s Lace which grew wild in the large field behind my house–it still holds a special place in my heart. What a Happy interview with Lisa–you both had me smiling….and thanks for this opportunity to win:-)

  2. shartl

This is so fun to see so many card makers that I admire in your interviews. I always wonder how crafters got started in their craft and what inspires them. My favorite flower is the tulip. I love them in every color and size!

  3. Pat McCleary

This was lots of fun & I learned several things too. Chaitali, love your water color stripes & Lisa’s cloud. My favorite is a daisy. Thanks for the fun & a chance to win.

  4. Virginia Lu

What a FUN interview! I adore Lisa and her beautiful work! Lisa’s laughter is definitely infectious! LOVE both of your cards! What a TREAT to see them in one post! My favorite flower is peonies (and hydrangea comes in a close 2nd)!

  5. Kathy

I’ll go with sunflowers. For years I had photos of them under my desk blotter. It made me happy just to look at them. This was a great interview, lots of fun conversation!
