Hey folks!
I’m up on the Verve blog today with the June Diva Dare! And the challenge is to make a masculine themed project!
Here is a quick look at my card. Notice the sentiment when you look!
The sentiment is constructed from 2 stamps in the Verve Wonderful Marvelous set.
Here are 2 methods you can use to do partial stamping like this. I use the first method to stamp the “How wonderful life is with” portion and the second method to stamp the “You”.
Method 1 is to cover up unwanted portions of the stamp with washi tape. Then ink up the stamp. Remember to peel off the tape before stamping otherwise you’ll get smudges from the ink on the tape!
Method 2 is to use a water-based marker like distress markers or Tombow markers to color up the portion of the stamp you want. Then you can blow on the stamp lightly before stamping to get the ink moist. Remember NOT to use alcohol markers like Copics for this!

Thank you for sharing that. I was using a piece of scratch paper and it continues to move. I love the idea of washi tape to cover up unwanted parts of the stamp to create your custom sentiment. Your card is beautiful too.
