Verve May Release Hop Day 3

Hey everyone!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Verve May Release! You should have come here from Teresa’s blog. If you want to begin at the beginning, the hop starts at Julee’s blog.

Today’s sets are Be Blessed, Luke 1:45, Sprightly Sprigs Die Set

And here is what I cooked up with them…

BeBlessed

The tags are WPlus9 tags. I stamped the background with the flowers from this set. Making backgrounds from stamps is a great therapy! I could go on for hours with one set. Hmm maybe I’ll try out some marathon crafting someday and make a crazy number of backgrounds from the same set. What say? 🙂

Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 5/23.

Stunning, Chaitali! Your stamped background is gorgeous in two colours; a perfect way to set off the tag with the lovely sentiment. WOW!

A gorgeous cheery card. I love the background you created using these beautiful new flowers. Wonderful red/yellow combo.

LOVE it!! I’ve been on a real DIY background kick myself lately, and your card REALLY makes me want this set now! I really like the colors you used, I’ve been very drawn to red flowers lately.

Love the stamped background and need to work up the nerve to try it. I am intimidated by the whole idea of getting things off. Do love your card—-the sentiment really stands out against the gorgeous blooms.

Remember Julia Child Christine and “don’t be afraid!”. If you mis-align, its art. if you smudge a bit; cover it with a tag. And if nothing works, toss it in the bin, have some chocolate, take a deep breath and start over another time 🙂

I totally get your feeling about background stamps!! I’m usually so lame I only think of them as individual stamps…and they can be so awesome as a background!!
