Iron Craft Season 2 Episode 4

Hey everyone!

Boy you are in for a treat today! I have a seriously talented crafter as my guest today and you are going to SQUEAL when you see her!

TheInterview

Laura Bassen! Thats who my guest is! Phew! You have NO idea how hard it was to keep that to myself so long! So we’ll skip the text and go right to the video, shall we? 🙂

TheIngredients

Laura and I both used the Falling Hearts stencil from Simon Says Stamp and the Card Exchanging Friends stamp set also from SSS.

TheCreations

Here is what Laura and I made with the ingredients. My card to the left and Laura’s to the right!

LauraBassenAndMe

Now this is one of those posts where I’d like to pretend my card doesn’t exist and we’ll just talk about Laura’s 🙂 Its just sooooo…. delicious! Love how she used the stencil in the center and distress inks, dies to make the focal point! For my card, the hardest part was to stand up and walk away! ‘d to keep telling myself that less is more and thats how Laura does it!

TheGiveaway

Today I am sponsoring the giveaway for a $10 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

Wonderful interview. I’m torn about my favorite dessert. I love cherry pie but I’m also a chocoholic. It’s not really dessert but I LOVE dark chocolate peanut M & M’s.

That was a really great interview. I loved Laura’s 3 poses. My favorite dessert is anything chocolate. If it doesn’t have chocolate in it, it isn’t dessert.

Chaitali, once again a video that invites cheering and applauding! Laura is so incredibly talented, and your interview is, again, simply outstanding! You’re a natural at making people comfortable and asking *the* perfect questions for your audience appeal. Top-notch! Favourite dessert: home-made carrot cake (extra on the carrots) with cream cheese icing and soft vanilla ice cream. I’m saving for a very, very special occasion to indulge, with zero guilt on calories (or size portion!). Until then: home-made chocolate chip cookies! Thanks for the happy-making post and video!

Was so excited to see Laura was your next interview, she is one of my most favourite card makers ever!!! Fantastic interview and isn’t Laura so down to earth and funny! Very hard to choose favourite dessert. Would have to say a moist, fudgy, stick-to-your-fork chocolate cake. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!!!

Fun interview—I love Laura! She is always great fun, which, I am sure, makes her a great mother. Favorite dessert? Just about anything that is sweet… but if I have to choose one, I would say, cheesecake.

Love both cards and what a fun interview to listen to with you & Laura! Now to pick a favorite dessert. That’s a difficult question because I’m a sweet monger and love to bake. Guess my first choice would be Burnt Cream (or Cream Brulee) but I’m not really fussy when it comes to dessert.
