I have a fun guest today! So much fun that we giggled quite a bit in the interview 🙂 And I have a permanent side-effect of interviewing her now – I’m always going to read her blog in her awesome NZ accent! Yeppers… today I have Sarah Gough! Lets go visit her, shall we?

TheIngredients

For our ingredients Sarah and I used Reverse Confetti stamps! The specific set we used was Be a Barista!

Sarah’s card is all layered and amazing in her style! And she used the vellum her husband got for her! For mine I HAD to find a doiley for my card because you can’t make a Sarah-style card without one – or so was my firm belief!

    The colour I really struggle with is red since it can be really bright and in your face. Sarah is so talented so it was fun to see her.

    Thanks for another great video! I have trouble, not so much with one color, but getting just the right shade of pink, red, or blue to go with a card project or pattern paper. So, often end up making my own using Distress Inks or sponging chalks, etc. This means lots of pretty paper not getting used. I don’t seem to be able to start a project with paper in mind, but usually start with a stamping idea. But, I have paper doilies somewhere, and next time I run across them in my stash will try to use them! Again, thanks for the inspiration & a happy fun video. Pat

    After watching this interview will try and use paper doilies! I have some somewhere! I have trouble with finding just right shades of pink, red, & blue. Using paper is my biggest challenge, I’ll tend to make my own with Distress Inks, chalk, Copic markers, gelatos, but am trying to improve my paper using skills. Want to make more & better use of my paper stash. Thanks for another great interview! Pat

    Another great episode! I struggle to create with orange because I really don’t like it :-). When I do use it, I tend to grab black and it starts to feel all “Halloweeny”. Thanks so much for the chance to win.

    I love this format. I’ve been seeing Sarah’s cards for ages…so nice to put the person & talent together. Brown is the color that stops me dead every time. Don’t know why, perhaps because I really don’t care for the color, but it will take me forever to finish anything with brown.

    Hi Chaitali…..Visited these convertations for the first time but really enjoyed the Video n glad to know about the very creative n talented “Sarah” too…loved both the cards u both hv created……they are beautiful….:)
    well to the question i hv to admit that i could never do justice with all the pastel shades…i dont know why but wenever i tried my hands on them i just convert them into bright/ darker shades n never got the soft n pastel look which i thought of…..so all the pastel shades really scared me n i really want a suggestion on how to use them effectively n get rid off this fear…

    I have such a hard time with Christmas colors!!! That is about the only thing I struggle with. My kids have very limited Christmas pages scrapped because I do them and then I don’t like them. Those are my hardest.

    Hi Chaitali – I am so happy I found you! I too love the Iron Chef and find your concept of Iron Craft – pure genious! I enjoyed your interview with Sarah! Like Sarah, I too struggle with using the shade of purple. I feel that there are very few paper designers that create paper’s in this shade and therefore, we are limited! Looking forward to your next interview! 🙂

    Oh, it was so fun to see Sarah in almost real life! She’s one of my Diva sistahs! I love her cards too 🙂 I struggle with red at times…trying hard not to make it look Christmasy or Valentine-y. Thanks for the chance to win!
