Hello all!
Have you ever made a card, been all excited about it, planned to blog about it at your favorite cafe then realised you forgot to upload its photos from your camera to your laptop?! Well if you haven’t had that experience, you are missing out on truly missing your craft room and on truly calling yourself an idiot!
Yup I had that experience yesterday! BUT wait till you see the card! Its worth the wait according to me 😉
Today I have yet another post guesting for i {heart} papers!
I got my inspiration for this from Taheerah’s Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge! Loved that one little frame in it with the white, blue and kraft and the watercolored flower! Spotting the frame in the photo is left as an exercise to the reader 🙂 Here is my take on the challenge…
Starting from the bottom-most layer, the layers are kraft, white, white with distressed stormy sky edge, white with distressed broken china and tattered rose. For the central white oval I used a mask made from a Nestabilities oval. The stamp is Flourishes Old Fashioned Florals and I stamped it with Memento Desert Rose first then colored in with Inktense pencils for the soft look. The sentiment is from the same set!
Here is Taheerah’s inspiration pic!
And another close-up shot…
Hope you will join along in the challenge too! Thanks for stopping by!!
