Celebrating Torico!

Hey everyone!

I’m participating today in a bloghop to celebrate one of my FAVORITE illustrators – Torico!! She is closing her digi stamps store, Birdie Brown, which is so sad because she has the most marvelous digis there 😦 But for us TSG fans, thats good because she will be illustrating even more for TSG!

You should have come here from Kim’s blog. If not then you can begin at the beginning on Lesley’s blog and continue till you come to the end.

In today’s bloghop all of us are choosing a favorite digi from Torico’s shop to use in our creations. I first used a Birdie Brown digi when I had Torico over for Iron Craft and since then I have been growing my wishlist of her digis. I chose this super cute robot today that I have wanted to use since forever. Isn’t it cute for a CAS card!?

Here is my card.

The sentiment is from a Taylored Expressions stamp set and I thought it’d go perfectly with this little robot. Colored the robot in the bright, Iron-Man colors and fussy cut it then stuck it on this card and added the black outline with a gel pen.

Why did I color and fussy cut you ask? Because I didn’t have any heavy cardstock unfortunately to directly color on it. Hence this sneaky little trick to get the same effect! Great CAS card for a friend who needed a lift!

Here is another closeup shot of the little guy.

So join us in celebrating Torico and cheering her and getting her to illustrate even more awesome stamp sets for us!! And if you want to grab some of her gorgeous digis, her shop will be open till end of November so go start shopping!

Your next stop is Tangii’s blog! Here is the full bloghop order if you, like me, like to open all the blogs at once 🙂
