Helloo everyone! Happy Monday and welcome to Iron Craft! A quick announcement before we start – I’m way behind on picking winners for the past few Iron Crafts but I promise to do that this week. Also watch out for my fun new series on craft fairs coming up this week!! And now back to Iron Craft…
You are probably familiar with her very famous challenge blog. You must have also seen her fabulous line of stamps!
But did you know she herself is a talented cardmaker!! I wasn’t surprised when I found that out but I was very pleased! So I got her to join in Iron Craft and create a card with one of her beautiful stamp sets!
You know who I’m talking about. Its Michele Gross — owner and creator of CAS-ual Fridays stamps!
Welcome to Iron Craft Michele!!!
So its not a big surprise that we are playing with CAS-ual Fridays stamps ofcourse!! We are both using the Bold Wishes set from CAS-ual Fridays. Its a beautifully versatile set of designs.
My card is on the left and Michele’s is on the right!
Love the bow on Michele’s card! Being bow-challenged myself, its so awesome to see such a neat ribbon bow on a card. And love the color scheme too!
As for my card, I got started on my Diwali cards early! A lot of CAS-ual Fridays sets are so well suited for making Indian themed cards! Doesn’t the border look just like my inspiration photo?
Hope you enjoyed this week’s challenge. Thanks so much for dropping by!
I did enjoy this week’s challenge. Both cards are beautiful! I also enjoyed hearing about Diwali. Your depiction of a burning candle is wonderful with its lotus blossom base. I hope to see more Indian themed cards…

Lovely cards ladies! Love Michele’s clean, crisp look (and the color combo!). Your Diwali card is so pretty and I can see how you were inspired by that picture. It amazes me how different the cards can be when using the same stamps!
