Hey everyone! Welcome back to Iron Craft! Time for another fun episode with another master chef!!
I have another fabulous crafter today! I have long admired her work too and have seen her work on lots of DTs. She has also created some really awesome challenges!
Say Hello to Stacey Schafer!!
I’m going to cheat a little and copy Stacey’s intro off her blog today because really I couldn’t have expressed it better – “Even though I’m a wife, a mom of three kiddos and a teacher, I always make time to get little inky“. HOW do you do it Stacey??
Glad Stacey takes the time to get inky because she has some awesome creations always! Read on to see what we made today 🙂
Stacey and I are going with the Christmas in July theme today as our first ingredient.
For our second ingredient, we are using Uniko Studio’s Text Style Christmas Digital Paper collection.
Eager to get started on your Christmas inspiration early? Read on to see what we made!!
Here are our creations – mine on the left and Stacey’s on the right!
I went with a simple design for mine. Printed the patterns as print-and-cut on my printer and cut them with my Cameo. Then tore up the background panel to get the torn-edge effect. Sponged the green border and the green on the circle, also the brown circle behind the green one. The image is from PTI’s In The Meadow set and the sentiment is handwritten.
Isn’t Stacey’s card just amazing? I love the ribbons-button-doiley style of the card! So cute and lovely! You should visit her blog to read on how she did it! But not without reading about the giveaway!!
Stacey is generously sponsoring today’s giveaway! Thanks Stacey!!
The giveaway is for the same Uniko Studio digital paper pack we used today. So leave us a comment if you want to get started on your Christmas cards early 🙂
To win, just leave a comment on this post or Stacey’s Iron Craft post by 23:59 EST on August 4. You can comment on both posts to increase your chance of winning! We will draw a random winner from both posts combined!
Thanks for dropping by! Have a great week 🙂
It’s never too early to start Christmas cards!
