Helloo crafty friends!! How is life? Did anything crafty this weekend? 🙂 Iron craft is here to get you started on your week again! Shall we see who is in the house today?
Iron Craft has had a lot of cool celebrities! But today is a first. My guest today is an accomplished crafter, a talented stamp designer AND the owner of one of the most fun and high-quality brands I know — Uniko Studio! YES she is Beverley Parish!!
I picked up my first Uniko Studio stamp set (ahem sets — comeon who orders just one!) when I saw a sale post from one of my crafty friends. I was blown away by the stamp quality, the packaging and the fast international shipping! Beverley’s designs are very trendy and versatile too!
So ofcourse we are playing with a Uniko Studio stamp set! Can’t wait to see which one? Read on!!
Our stamp set today was Beverley’s pick and I’m so thrilled she chose this set! Its from the latest Uniko Studio release and I have been drooling over all cards made with it. The set is called Flower Power 2 and has an excellent mix of cute flowers for fun designs. You’ll see what I mean in a second.
We couldn’t stop at just one ingredient! So we picked another… the Classics Summer digital paper collection. If you haven’t tried out digital paper before, you should! Again you will see its uses in a second!
And we also added in a sketch to the mix with the latest Case This Sketch!
Phew thats a lot of ingredients! Wanna see what we came up with? Here goes…
Here are our creations. Mine on the left and Beverley’s on the right.
Love the cute pastel color scheme on Beverley’s card! So summery and fun! Isn’t the digital paper just so nice?
For mine I made a background using the flowers in the set. I have a new breakfast routine – watching craft videos! And I have been seeing so many DIY backgrounds that I just had to make one myself.
Now didn’t I tell you digital papers have many uses? One is in digi scrapbooking, one is in printing on cardstock for card fronts like we have here and one more awesome use I have below. My card is part of a gift set so here is the whole set. Notice the rolled paper in the RSVP pen? Well I printed this digi paper on regular copy paper so it would be easy to roll in the pen. Now you can’t vary thickness like this for a conventional paper, can you?
You should hop over to the Uniko Studio blog to see more of Beverley’s card! But before you go, there is a giveaway ofcourse!
Beverley is sponsoring today’s giveaway as well with a £5 gift certificate to Uniko Studio! Thanks Beverley!!
To win, just leave a comment here by 23:59 EST on June 30 telling us what your favorite flower is! I’ll pick a random winner from the entries for the gift certificate!
Thanks for dropping by!! Hope you enjoyed the post today 🙂
Two amazing cards! Flower Power 2 looks amazing – and incredibly versatile! My favourite flowers are asters; absolutely love them, as they remind me of my grandmother’s garden, filled with brilliant splendor, in northern Canada. Stunning colours always! Thanks for the wonderful give-away opportunity, along with some super inspiring Iron Craft ideas!
