Iron Craft #7

Hello! And welcome to another episode of Iron Craft!! Its been a busy week for me but more on that later. I have yet another awesome guest for you today…

MasterCrafter

SankariWegman

Let me start counting the ways I can introduce her. She is on the Bakers Dozen team of Taylored Expressions. She is a Verve Diva. She has been on the Splitcoast Dirty Dozen team. I could go on but I should give you her name I think 🙂 Say Hello to the super talented Sankari Wegman!

Besides being a master crafter, Sankari is also a professor and an Ayurvedic consultant! And if you aren’t yet impressed by her, she does all this while also being a mom of 2! :O

Go ahead and say hello to her on her blog when you are done reading through this post. And if she sent you here, WELCOME! I promise I’ll take good care of you 🙂

Its a bit obvious what we picked for our ingredients if you have been paying attention to my intro. I won’t spoil the fun if you didn’t pick up on it though 😉

Ingredients

Ofcourse we had to play with Taylored Expressions stamps! Sankari and I are both playing with the Tea-riffic stamp and die set from TE.

We are also using this sketch from Splitcoaststampers.

Here is what we came up with…

Creations

Here are our cards. Mine is on the left and Sankari’s on the right.SankariWegmanAndMe

Yup thats a tea bag on my card 🙂 Substituted that for the rectangle in the sketch. Its chamomile and gives the card a nice fragrance! Don’t you just love scented cards?

I made this card for a friend’s daughter who is recovering from a bad accident. Paired it with a scented candle and a little paper pad to make a small gift bag for her to wish her a speedy recovery! Here is a picture of my card and the paper pad. Do you see the glossy accents on the teacups in this? Tried Ranger Inkssentials Glossy Accents Precision Tip, 2-Ounce for the first time and loved it! Expect to see more on my cards!

Now head over to Sankari’s blog to get more deets on her card and tea tin! Don’t you want to know how she made it?

Wow, great cards ladies! I love tea, and all things tea related. I have yet to see that set, and am in love! Love both your takes! Fun to use the tea bag and have her enjoy the scent, and LOVE the canister Sankari made to match her card. As a tea lover, you can never have enough of them!
