In the course of my celebrity hunt for Iron Craft I reached out to Nina Yang from Waffle Flower Paper Crafts (the name always makes me want waffles! but then anything makes me want waffles really….) She was so nice inviting me to guest design with some of her newest designs! I just loveed her Birthday digis! Here is what I made with them…
First up is a fun splatters printable. I opened this in my Silhouette Studio and traced the outline. Then welded it to a rectangle to make a cool print-and-cut panel. Printed and cut this out a few times so I could make a set of cards. Then it was really quick and easy to fold different colored cardbases and add patterned papers on them. Popped out the panel with Nina’s design using pop dots. The patterned papers are all from Studio Calico’s Snippets 6×6 paper pad. Time for the entire card set: 20 mins!
The next one is my FAVORITE! Totally geeky card!! I got the idea when I saw Nina’s pixel birthday graphic. Made an easel card with it and Gina K Tech Talk stamp set. I’m saving it for a very special geek’s birthday!! Here is the card in an opened easel view, a top view and a closed front view for better perspective.
Big Thanks to Nina for letting me play with her awesome printables! She has these on her blog today so go visit if you want to download and play with these!
And if you came from Nina’s blog, welcome and thanks for stopping by! Hope you will keep dropping by for more crafty fun 🙂 Do leave me a comment so I can visit you too.
That pop-up computer card is absolutely AMAZING!!! And I LOVE that you used the mouse and mail popped up to hold it open. That is SO smart. Really, really, really cute!

How fun! Love the fun words and colors of the first set, and adore the easel “geek” card! Love how you have the mouse and the letter along the bottom, it adds to the 3D effect!
