Rainbow Stamping

There is a new Muse challenge! And I am really trying hard to play in these challenges because nothing gets me creating more than seeing a lovely card. For this one my inspiration was the beautiful colorful flowers and the clean white background. I tried to capture these elements in my card today.

Kristina showed us this amazing technique in the Clean And Simple 2 class but I didn’t get to try it till yesterday because I was waiting for my mail package 😦 Isn’t it sooo annoying when you are waiting for crafting supplies to try out a fabulous idea?

I finally got my inks yesterday and the Ranger Inkssentials Cut-N-Dry Stamp Pad Foam! Did you know about the foam? No? Well its excellent for a DIY ink-pad. I made a rainbow one with my reinkers but I only used a bit of the foam and stored it away in a ziploc bag for reuse. I already have tons of ideas for reusing it as well as making more inkpads! Keep watching…

Tried my inkpad with a Judikins stamp to make the image. This stamp was perfect because it is a negative stamp! Here is my finished card:

Supplies:

Cardstock: PTI white for flower panel and base, Patterned paper
Stamps: Judikins
Inks: Distress inks
Accessories: Ranger cut-and-dry stamp pad

Not counting the time to make the stamp pad (and it doesn’t count because its reusable!) this was another 10-minute card. I’m doing well at them, aren’t I? 🙂

Hope you liked the card! Thanks for stopping by!!
