I had a cardmaking sprint session yesterday and managed to get caught up on this week’s homework for the Clean & Simple 2 class. Combining days 3 and 4 so I can show you my work sooner 🙂
Day 3
Here is what I made for Day 3. I tried very hard to duplicate Jennifer’s Gradient Stamping techniques but didn’t do well at it. So gave up and made a gradient background using my Copics instead.
I cut the background on my Cameo using a design from the Silhouette Store. Sponged around the edges with green Memento ink before adhering the layers.
Looks like this only passes as CAS because it has so much white space 🙂
I am submitting this for the CASE Study challenge 126.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI white, GP 110 for cut background
Stamp: PTI Heart 2 Heart for background shape and sentiment
Inks: Copics, Memento green and rich cocoa
Day 4
This was about making cards with negative space. I think I failed this one because I went with a sponged background 😦 But its pretty hard to not put anything on a card… KWIM?
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI white
Stamp: Background swirls (I forgot which stamp this is)
Inks: Memento green
Tools: Heat gun, Tsukineko embossing powder
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you liked the cards 🙂
i like your embossing folder you used, i’ve seen some similar to it, but not that exact one. great look!visiting from CASE Studyhope you can visit me too 🙂
