All geared up!

Its release day at Platypus Creek Digitals and Tracey is releasing a lovely gears cutting file, perfect for a card for the special men in your life! I made a card for my dad using the cutting file. Here it is:

Supplies:

Cardstock: PTI white for base, GP110 for gears, PTI kraft for flags
Stamp: Fathers Day sentiment (can’t remember the set)
Inks: Oil pastels, Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black for sentiment
Tools: Silhouette Cameo

This is almost a one-layer card. I started with PTI white cardstock and masked off a white strip on the left. Then colored over it with an oil pastel crayon. I cut out the gears with my Cameo and colored them with Copics. Adhered them to the card with dimensionals. The little kraft flags just add a something extra to the card don’t you think? 🙂

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. This is my last time playing with Platypus Creek Digitals since I am stepping down from the DT. Tracey has been very generous to the DT and has given us lots of cutting files and digis (thankyou Tracey!). But I have decided to step down and focus on my personal and work commitments for now.

Thanks for stopping by! Do check out what the rest of the DT has made for the release at Platypus Creek! And if you want to pick up some cute digis yourself, head over to the Platypus Creek store!
