Nichole has a fun technique this week for Make It Monday — stamping with bleach! I hadn’t heard of this before and couldn’t wait to try it. Here is the card I made:
Supplies:
The paper is PTI Simply Chartreuse bleached with the background stamp from PTI Sweet Life set. My bleach was too liquidy and it ran down the paper hence the imperfect shape. But it added a cool effect overall đ
I stamped the roses from PTI Sweet Life set over the bleached area with Burnt Sienna chalk ink. The leaves are from the same set with green chalk ink. I also caved in and brought PTI dies — my first die set from PTI — to go with this set. And I must say I’m terribly impressed with them! I loved how cleanly they cut the cardstock! I still like my Cameo better but I think I’ll have some more PTI dies in my collection soon đ
The sentiment is from the same stamp set which I stamped on a grid paper and stapled on the card. Those red and green lines you see are from stickers that came with my TE July KI kit. I didn’t know what to do with them till now. But they went beautifully with this card!
I’m submitting this for Make It Monday #76 — Stamping with bleach.
Hope you enjoyed the card! Thanks for stopping by đ
Very pretty! What a fun technique and the stamp set you chose was a great way to apply it. đ
