Today’s MIM challenge at PTI was very interesting. I especially liked Heather’s brayer technique to ink up impressions. And Heather used a lot of text style stamps which gave me a great idea for my CAS-ual Fridays entry!
Here is my card for both, MIM and CAS-ual Fridays challenge:
Cardstock: Bazzil Basics, Recycled handmade paper for panel
Stamp: PTI Text Style, Gina K Autumn Splendor for sentiment
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black,, PTI Fresh Snow
Accessories: White rose and leaves, Martha Stewart doiley cutout
The left panel is made by first impressing a recycled handmade paper with a Tim Holtz impression plate. Then I inked up the raised side with Memento Black ink. I directly pressed the inkpad over the paper since I didn’t have any brayer.
The text background is from PTI Text Style stamps. I added a white rose and some leaves from my stash to the card. A Martha Stewart doiley cutout with a Thankyou stamp from Ginak K Autumn Splendor set completes the card.
I am submitting this card to:
- PTI Make It Monday #74 – Stamping on Texture
- CAS-ual Fridays #60 Text Me
- MoxieFabWorld Thankyou Card challenge
