My second card for today is for PTI’s Make It Monday. I wasn’t able to participate in a previous MIM where Betsy Veldman showed how to do bordered sentiments. So I decided to couple that with this one which was stamping on patterned paper.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI kraft, Summer Fun patterned papers from TE July KI kit
Stamp: PTI Trendy Treetops
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics for hearts and coloring pearls
Tools: Silhouette Cameo to cut out the hearts
Wondering why I didn’t just stamp the sentiment in the middle? Well actually I did! But then I put too much pressure on my stamp while stamping and it smudged at the corners!! Don’t you just hate it when that happens?? So instead of starting over again, I measured out a piece of kraft paper of that size and stamped on it.
This card goes to the Moxie Fab World Thankyou cards challenge.
Its also my second entry for the Stretch Your Stamps challenge at A Blog Named Hero. But since they would like both entries in a single post, I will be making another blog post with both cards in it.
