My “one other color” here was cream so I used black, white and cream. I love Tracey’s butterfly cutting files so much that I could use them all day and on every card if I could! Also, I got some new PTI goodies to play with this week, can you tell? 🙂
I must thank Laurie on SCS who sent me the best vellum glue ever in a secret sister swap! It doesn’t show through the vellum AT ALL! I added some diamond stickles and rhinestones to Tracey’s butterflies to make them even prettier.
Last bit of news, I’m trying out a new technique of first making a sketch for myself before making my cards to keep myself focused and avoid making a mess in my craft room. Seems to have worked so far 🙂 Here are my sketches for these 2 cards if you are interested:

Love both cards Chaitali. I love the idea of sketching out the cards first too. I always have such great intentions, go down to my craft cave then totally forget what I was planning on doing and end up with something totally different. LOL. You are so much more focused than I. Awesome job on both cards.

So pretty Chaitali! I think the use of the cream was a great choice! Great layouts on both of them. I haven’t made “sketches” before I make my cards..I will give it a shot as I know a lot of people do it. Your sketches are great!

These are both so beautiful. Love the black/cream combination. That’s fabulous that you can create your own sketches, I usually have to go looking for one.
