With my new DCWV embossed cards kit, that wasn’t hard at all! Here is the card I made for the challenge:
I first masked off the strip area with post-it notes then colored it in with my oil-pastel crayons. Drew the vertical lines with a black sharpie and colored in them with a gold glitter pen. Then drew in the triangles inside the strip with a black sharpie.
the sentiment is a strip from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper. I hand-wrote the sentiment on it with the black sharpie. Added a silver border around it with glitter pens. Finished the card with a sunflower 3D sticker from my stash.
