Its challenge day at Platypus Creek again! And this time we have a color challenge for you! Tracey picked out some fab colors for us to work with. They aren’t ones I normally use but they were fun to work with.
Here is what I came up with:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Stamp: Swirls background
Cutting file: Layered flower from Platypus Creek
Inks: Peeled paint distress ink for background, BV04 and V15 copics for flowers
Here is the color swatch for the challenge. You can use these colors or shades of these but the important thing is to keep these as your main color palette in your card. Mine is a lighter version of these colors 🙂
I used Tracey’s beautiful layered flower cutting file for this challenge. The background swirls stamp is from my rubber stamp festival visit in Portland. Also, yep, this is one of my sentiment-less cards to be stamped with sentiment before I use it!
Hope you enjoyed it! Do join us if you can for the challenge at Platypus Creek and do visit my fellow DT members for added inspiration!
This is so pretty Chaitali – love the shades you’ve use hugs Judith x

That is lovely. I like the idea of leaving off a sentiment until you know what you need the card for.
