My Heart Pieces Anything Goes

Its challenge day at My Heart Pieces! And our first challenge of the season is “Anything Goes”!

Priyanka’s cute digis inspire me. They are also special to me because they have a lovely Indian touch. I have a lot of Indian friends and family who would love cards made with these digis. So here is what I came up with for this challenge:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Indian handmade paper, SEI Promise Me, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White for digi and sentiment
Stamp: My Heart Pieces Beautiful Nature digi
Accessories: Brown pearls
Inks: Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black for sentiment

The base cardstock is handmade paper from India. Some interesting facts about this paper are that it is made from cotton rags. It is tree free and 100% recycled with no toxic materials. Some papers have dried flower petals also added to them for a more natural look and feel. It has a lovely, crisp linen smell and is beautiful to touch!

The pink background is glitter paper from SEI’s Promise Me 6×6 pad. I used Priyanka’s Beautiful Nature digi printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and colored it with my Copics. The sentiment is from PTI Happy Trails, stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and adhered with dimensionals to the card. 2 brown pearls complete the card.

I am also submitting this for Moxie Fab World’s Tuesday Trigger challenge. Here is the Trigger image:

Hope you will join us this week and play along in the My Heart Pieces challenge. Do also drop by and visit my fellow DT members for added inspiration!

I am going to dedicate this card to my friend Pooja for all her inspiration and for always being there for me. She adds the “desi” touch to every event we enjoy together!
