Happy Healing

My Time To Craft has a lovely new challenge. The theme this week is “Happy Healing”. Here is the card I made for this challenge:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White for central panel and sentiment, TE cardstock for butterfly
Stamp: Judikins stamp
Accessories: Ali Edwards sentiment, Butterfly cutting file from Silhouette store, black pearls
Inks: Copics, Inkadinkado orange

The central flower stamp is a lovely stamp by Judikins that I picked up at the stamp exhibition I visited last month. The little butterfly is a Silhouette cutting file that I offset to cut the outer portion. The sentiment is a freebie from Ali Edwards that I got through the “A Cut Above” class.

I chose to put a “hugs” sentiment because I plan to send this card to Love Letters who will pass it on to a child with a life-threatening illness. They ask that the sentiment is warm and positive instead of “get well soon”. I thought this would go well with the Happy Healing theme, don’t you?

Hope you enjoyed the card. Do drop by and visit my fellow DT members for more inspiration! And if you have time, we hope you will play along with the challenge!

This card also goes for the following challenges:

Chaitali: The child will love it. It is very happy in feel and EVERYONE can always use a hug. I love the distressing around the edge of the card..such a cool effect.
