I also had Day 2 of my A Cut Above class yesterday and learnt some great techniques that I wanted to try.
Combining both wasn’t very hard since they are so similar but I managed to make it hard with my limited die collection 😦 I stopped buying dies after I got my Cameo so didn’t have many to choose from. Can you believe I only have 2 Spellbinder dies? And only 4 die sets total?!!
Here is my single layer card first:
Supplies:
I did my sponging by putting down Nestabilities on the card base and using my spongers. I like the interesting effect that the sponges create when you use only their tip to sponge little circles. The rose and leaves are from PTI’s Rosie Posie. I’m not very happy with how they turned out on the card. Doesn’t look as good without layering, does it?
Now here is my layered card! I used the window diecuts technique we learnt in class yesterday.
Supplies:
The layered one is my fav of the two 🙂 Which one do you like?
This also goes for Use It Tuesday’s Anything Goes challenge — I used my hoarded dies 🙂
Very pretty! I don’t have many Spellbinders either. That’w shy I ordered some more yesterday 🙂

I like your flower better on the second one but I do like your sponging on the first one instead of using the die cuts.
