Drunken Stampers DT!

I have a big announcement to make today! I was invited to join yet another DT!! Now I can proudly say that I am a Drunken Stamper 😉

Now for my first challenge with them! The theme going on this week is “I’ll drink to that”. So I made this card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI kraft for base, This & That Graceful patterned paper from Echo Park, GP110 for sketch
Inks: PTI true black for sentiment, Black gel pen to draw sketch
Accessories: This & That brad, baker’s twine
Tools: Silhouette Cameo, Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder
Stamp: Sketch from the Silhouette Store

Wondering what stamp that coffee cup is? I’ll let you in on a secret — thats not a stamp! My Cameo drew that sketch from the Silhouette store 🙂 I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and fitted it with a black gel pen to draw this on GP110 paper. Sponged the edges with some frayed burlap distress ink and layered it on brown cardstock to give the vintage look.

The background is from my TE March KI kit and so is the brad. Somehow I always think of sentiments like “keep in touch” for cards that have anything to do with coffee.

The challenge is still on at Drunken Stampers so do join us for it if you can! Also, drop by my fellow DT member blogs and see what they have created!

Hope you enjoyed the card. Watch out for lots of challenges with the Drunken Stampers.

Congratulations Chaitali! I am very excited for you. I haven’t heard of the Drunken Stampers, but will be checking them out now. Have a lot of fun! I love your card. I don’t have a silhouette, so I am not sure how they work, but boy is it a nice image!! Cool.

I love this card! Isn’t Amy’s stuff great! I love all of her attachments. I use my die cut machine all the time to draw my digital images, but your card had me fooled… I really thought that it was stamped! Thank you for letting me join your SCS blogging group! I look forward to watching your blog for more great ideas!
