Ten-minute Thursday

I’m so late with today’s blog post! Didn’t get to this all day. But glad I can post before the day is over in the Pacific Northwest 🙂

I’m getting ready to put up a small crafts table with Pooja and Prema at a local event happening in our area very soon. Aside from cards, I want to make a few more papercrafts for the table. Since I want to make multiples of each, I’d like it to take 10 minutes or less to make each 🙂

I didn’t have to think a lot on today’s creation. I had these cute 4×6 acrylic photo frames and recently got some small calendar tearoffs from Taylored Expressions. So made this quick desktop calendar in less than 10 mins.

Here is what I made:

Desktop Calendar front view
Desktop Calendar side view

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream, Bazzil Basics earthtone, TE Buttercream (from March KI kit)
Inks: Broken china distress ink, PTI true black for image, Tombow markers for coloring, Colored pencils for vase water
Accessories: TE mini tearoff calendar
Stamp: TE Spring Tulips

The stamp is from Taylored Expressions Spring Tulips set. Colored it with my Tombow markers and used my colored pencils for the water in the vase. The brown background is from Bazzil Basics earthtones pad. The background paper is PTI rustic cream. I sponged it with broken china distress ink.

Slid in the paper in the acrylic frame and stuck the calendar on top. There you have it! A quick 10-minute gift!

Apologies for the not-so-great photos today. I took them in a hurry from my phone. Will replace with better photos at a later time when I can.
