What a Donkey!

EDIT: Kim visited my blog!!!! *dancing a jig* and even started a “herding donkeys” post to collect all the donkey cards! Do visit her blog and add your link if you have a donkey card to share!
I am a big follower of Kim O’Connell’s blog. Her favorite term of endearment for anyone is “Donkey”. And she is solely responsible for making me a fan of the TSG Ba Donkey Donk set!Β
Here is my card using one of the cute images from the set an even cuter sentiment:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI kraft for base, Echo Park Yours Truly patterned paper, Bazzil Basics earthtones, GP110 for panel
Accessories: Black pearls from TE Key Ingredients Feb kit
Inks: Tombow markers, frayed burlap distress ink, PTI True Black for image and sentiment
Stamps: TSG Ba Donkey Donk

I water-colored the donkey using my frayed burlap distress ink and Tombow markers. Layered it on some Bazzil grey cardstock and popped it with dimensionals. Kept the layout simple and true to this week’s Retro Sketches though I didn’t get to play in it.

This also goes for:

Since Kim is one of my inspirations, this card is dedicated to her. Kim, if you visit and see this, I hope this makes you call me a “Donkey” πŸ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by! Do leave a comment if you liked the post!
