Springtime

My inspiration for this card was my tea shaker card and this new sketch challenge blog. I also got a whole bunch of new stamps from PTI so really wanted to try out the stitches and swirls one.

Here is what I made:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream for base, PTI autumn abundance panel, handmade red paper for strips
Accessories: Black pearls
Inks: PTI true black, Tombow markers, Peeled paint distress ink
Stamps: PTI Stitches and Swirls

As you can see, I am already thinking of spring and summer hence the bright colors! Stamped the flower from Stitches and Swirls with PTI true black ink and colored it with tombow markers. Added some faux stitching around the flower to complete the square.

Yes you guessed it! This is one of my no-sentiment cards 🙂 Though this time I left enough space on the card that I could write a sentiment if I need one.

TIP for Top Tip Tuesday: Keep a scraps drawer/basket for all the little leftover bits and pieces of your paper. That way if you are adding small elements to a card, you don’t have to cut into a whole new sheet of paper. My red strips on this card are from my scrap drawer.

Dedicating this card to Swati who being a fellow Gator and Mumbaiite is also eagerly waiting for spring and summer in Seattle!

This also goes to the following challenges:
