I discovered something exciting yesterday – The Friday Mashup challenge blog! And they have a “Fan Favorite” contest going on!! I am totally participating!

If you have been a regular visitor to my blog, you know that I (a) love my Silhouette Cameo and (b) like making interactive cards or cards with interesting folds.

So here is my Mashup challenge:
1. Create a project using your own cutting file.
2. Create a project with some movable/interactive parts.
3. Or “Mash it Up!” and create a project with some movable/interactive parts using your own cutting file!

Hows that for a challenge??
Ofcourse I went ahead with the “Mash it up!” option and created an interactive card using my own cutting file. this one is also inspired by Nichole’s movers and shakers post. Here is my slider card:
Slider card closed
Slider card when partially sliding out
Slider card after fully sliding out
Supplies:
Cardstock: Rustic cream from Papertrey Ink, GP110 for slider, Blue textured handmade paper from India
Accessories: Cupcake applique, stickers
Inks: PTI true black for sentiment
Stamps: PTI birthday inside out stamp
Tools: Silhouette Cameo

Here is the SVG file I made for the card. Its free for you to download and use but please credit me when you use it. This can be opened in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and will cut with any Silhouette machine.

EDIT: I removed the .studio file from my blog because Silhouette America only allows distribution of .studio files through their online store.

This one goes for:
Hope you enjoyed it and will vote for me when voting starts at the Friday Mashup 🙂
