Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge

I’m back from a 3 day business trip! Did you notice I was gone? No? Thanks to my sweet husband for posting my pre-written posts!! 🙂

I just got back in time to play for the Papertrey Ink Feb bloghop! Without further delay, here is my interactive card!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Rustic cream from Papertrey Ink, GP110 for panel, Bazzil basica cardstock for waves and boat body, My Mind’s Eye Everyday Flair cardstock for boat
Accessories: Boat from Silhouette store, Waves from Silhouette store, original design for spinner
Inks: Tombow markers to color sun and boat flag, PTI true black for sentiment
Stamps: PTI Happy Trails sentiment
Tools: Silhouette Cameo

I thought of this design on my flight back home so I was ready to make it very fast as soon as I could! I cut the little boat out using a design from the Silhouette store. The patterned papers are from MME Everyday Flair kit. I cut out little 3X3 squares from the patterned papers and the brown cardstock then arranged them on my cutting mat so my Cameo could cut out all the little parts at once. Paper pieced the boat together once I had the parts.

The waves are also from the Silhouette store. The spinner card pattern is the same SVG file I have for download on this post when I first made it. I just moved the track a little below on the panel so the boat would look like it was moving on the waves. Feel free to use the SVG file but please credit me when you do!

Added the sun and the little flag on the boat with my Tombow markers. The card itself is made from PTI rustic cream cardstock and the stamp is from PTI Happy Trails (I know I need some new PTI stamps!!)

Here is another photo of the boat in motion:

Hope you enjoyed the post and thanks for stopping by!
