Pocket diary

Much as I like making cards, sometimes I like making some non-card papercrafts too 🙂 The Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit is so versatile that I wanted to use it for more things than just making cards. Since the theme for the challenge at Taylor’s blog is “Take Note”, I thought a pocket diary would fit in perfectly!

I had bought the little diary with a kraft cover at my local craft store some time ago. Embellished it with ingredients from my KI kit. Here is the outcome:

Supplies:
Cardstock: My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found Rosy patterned papers
Inks: Papertrey Ink true black, Walnut stain distress ink
Stamps: Taylored Expressions Discover your wings
Accessories: Black pearls, Prima rose

The top flap shuts close with a magnetic clasp. Here are some more photos of it when opened halfway and fully:

The tag is cut from one of the papers in the My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found Rosy 6X6 paper pad I got in my KI kit. Stained it a bit with walnut stain distress ink then adhered it to the top flap of the diary with dimensionals. Noticed the cute little bow on the front panel? Thats made with my BowEasy!! I really did graduate from bowmaking school finally!!!
