Spinner card

Yesterday’s challenge on Nichole’s blog was to make an interactive card. I love interactive cards! so even though I didn’t get to play in the challenge, I still made one. Thanks to my dear husband for the idea!

Here is my card:

Heart in center of spinner track
Heart to right of spinner track
Heart to left of spinner track
Supplies:
Cardstock: Rustic cream from Papertrey Ink, GP110 for penguins, Pink SU cardstock for spinner background
Accessories: Penguins from Silhouette store, original design for spinner
Inks: Tombow markers to color penguins,PTI true black for sentiment
Stamps: SU sentiment
Tools: Silhouette Cameo

The card is a spinner card with a heart that goes from one end to another. This was the first time I designed something in Silhouette Studio from scratch. I made the spinner and the little circles with it in Silhouette Studio. The penguins are  from Silhouette store and can be found here and here. I cut them out on GP110 cardstock then colored with my Tombow markers and paper pieced them together.

This one goes to the following challenges:

Now for some fun stuff! I have the Silhouette Studio file for download for you all!! It is an SVG which means it will open in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and will cut with any Silhouette machine. It contains the spinner track background (the pink one here) and the 2 circles that make the spinner. It also includes the heart but you can put anything you like on the circles. Here is the file to download.

EDIT: I have removed the .studio file from here because Silhouette America only allows distribution of .studio files from their online store.

This is the first of many cutting files, so be sure to visit back here to see more! Please credit me if you use the file anywhere. Hope you enjoyed the post!
