Triple Tier VDay

My husband is coming back today from a long business trip! I wanted to make a special card for him especially since VDay is around the corner.

I found this great tutorial on Splitcoaststampers yesterday and thought it would be a great idea to try out. Also wanted to make something with the paper-pieced bunny I used before since he was sooo cutee!!

Here is my card:

Folded-up view

But thats not the whole card. Pull the ribbon once and…

First tier pulled out

…look what pops out! Thats also not it! Pull it again and…

Second tier pulled out
…look what popped out again!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Rustic cream and Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink, Patterned paper from SU, Echo Park and Project Life Clementine kit
Accessories: Martha Stewart Valentine button, ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon Jan kit, SVGCuts bunny, Jolee’s boutique flower sticker
Inks: Tombow markers, Chomas Creations gel pens
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
Technique: Triple tier pop-up card

The entire card is 3 tiers. I cut and assembled the paper layers following directions on the SCS tutorial. The bunny is from SvgCuts.com. I cut the parts on my Silhouette Cameo and colored the pink parts with my Tombow markers. Paper-pieced it together for the final image.

I wrote out the sentiments since I didn’t have any stamps. The little hearts on all tiers are also hand-drawn with Chomas creations gel pens.

Here are more pics of my card in making:
This one goes for the following challenges:

Hope you enjoyed looking at the card! Thanks for visiting!
