I love making cards but every once in a while I like to make something other than cards 🙂 The newest challenge at Cameo Creations challenges was to make a VDay tag which was perfect! Took me some time but I finally got to it and made a tag!
Here is my tag:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Rustic cream from Papertrey Ink, SEI Promise Me patterned paper, GP 110 for bunny
Accessories: Button coated with pink glitter, baker’s twine, ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon Jan kit, cutting file from SVGCuts
Stamp: SU sentiment
Inks: Tombow markers, Tattered Rose distress ink, Souffle pens
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
I got this set of cuddly characters from SVGCuts.com and really wanted to use them somewhere. Cut out the bunny on my Cameo on GP white paper and colored the pink parts then assembled the bunny together.
TIP for Top Tip Tuesday: You can color various shapes on your mat in Silhouette Studio to differentiate them. Cameo will still cut them all out at once on any paper you feed in but this is useful when you want to color images and assemble them later like I did here.
The hearts are made with souffle pens. The ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Jan kit and looked perfect with the tag. The pink glitter coated button holds the twine in place and works for the challenge!
