Make It Monday

Have you ever had a card idea stuck in your head and can’t stop thinking about it? Thats what happened to me when I saw today’s Make it Monday on Nichole’s blog. For times like this, I have found that its easiest to just MAKE IT! So made this quick card before coming to work.

Here is the card I made:

I didn’t have a whole lot of PTI dies to choose from so went with my circle punch. Figured it counts as a “die” 🙂 Chose 2 stamps from my “All booked up” set, one for the front and other for the back of the circle. I tried my best to get them both stamped in the center of the punched circle but the second one came a bit off-center. Happens when you design in a hurry.

Cut the little window in a kraft cardstock, put the stamped circle in a small clear bag and stuck the bag on. I have plenty of those in different sizes since I use them to pack card candy, swaps, cards and even craft fair items to keep them clean and safe. I added white strips to frame the window inside and outside and also to hide the gluelines where I stuck the clear bag to the card.

A flower sticker and the sentiment from PTI Happy Trails and there you have it – a double-sided stamped diecut card!
